    On behalf of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd, I would like to welcome you to this press conference. It is myhonour to be speaking to you here as we celebrate the first joint organisation of Messe Frankfurt and CIPC at Meat Expo China 2015.

    我謹代表法蘭克福展覽（上海）有限公司，向蒞臨本次新聞發布會的各位來賓表達最誠摯的歡迎！今天，我們齊聚一堂，共同慶祝法蘭克福展覽與商務部流通產業促進中心首次攜手舉辦中國國際肉業博覽會。我非常榮幸能在這一里程碑式的時刻上發言。

    Echoing the speech of Mr Zhou, we see great potential in the meat and meat processing market in China. I am glad to share the same vision with CIPC and join in apartnership with them. Together we have built the 2015 show, creating a pivotal platform to assemble leading meat and meat-based products suppliers, slaughtering equipment manufacturers and meat processing technologies providers to connect with buyers from the hotel & restaurant, butcher’s trade, processing operations and fast food outlets industries. We particularly wish to offer a gateway for overseas suppliers with cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions to enter the local market and capture the emerging opportunities.

    誠如剛才周強主任所說，中國的肉類食品及加工產業有著廣闊的市場發展前景。我方與流通產業促進中心可謂英雄所見略同，因而促成了此次歷史性合作。在雙方的不懈努力下，我們成功地將2015中國國際肉業博覽會，打造成匯聚全球肉類食品、屠宰設備、及肉制品加工行業領軍企業，聯動酒店餐飲、屠宰貿易、加工工藝、及快餐連鎖等相關行業的杰出平臺。我們尤其希望借助此次展覽的平臺，引進國外尖端技術及創新解決方案供應商，來到中國填補市場空白，贏得發展機遇。

    Meat Expo China is the newcomer in Messe Frankfurt’s trade fair portfolio in the food technology segment. The existing events include IFFA in Germany, Tecno Fidta in Argentina and Modern Bakery Moscow in Russia. With the involvement at Meat Expo China, Messe Frankfurt expands its event profile in China, and is expected to enrich the global participation at the show by its extensive network in the meat industry worldwide. Combining the efforts and expertise of Messe Frankfurt and CIPC, the scale and internationality of the show are both enhanced. Over 100 exhibitors from fivecountries and regions, including China, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan and Spain, are taking part inthe fair, utilising 12,600 square meters of the exhibition space.

    中國國際肉業博覽會，是法蘭克福展覽集團旗下食品技術類展會的新成員。在同一展會系統下，我們已成功運作了德國IFFA法蘭克福國際肉類加工工業展覽會、Tecno Fidta阿根廷國際食品加工設備、添加劑及調味劑展覽會 以及 俄羅斯Modern Bakery莫斯科國際烘焙設備及原料展覽會等項目。此次參與主辦中國國際肉業博覽會，標志著法蘭克福展覽集團在中國的展覽業務又擴大至新的版圖。同時，我們也將不遺余力地利用在全球肉制品行業的廣泛資源，為此次展覽注入更多國際化競爭力。隨著法蘭克福展覽集團與商務部流通產業促進中心的強強聯手，展覽的規模和國際化程度有了明顯提升。在面積多達12,600 平方米的展示空間內，來自中國、香港、意大利、日本和西班牙等5個國家和地區的逾100家展商，向業界展示最新的產品和領先技術。

    This year, we welcome the debut of the Inner-Mongolia Pavilion, in which over 30 participating companies from the region will bring high-quality mutton and beef from pollution-free production bases. Additionally, a specialty area formed by various companies from the Rugao City Casing Hub will make its first appearance at the show, introducing a diversity of natural and artificial casings for different types of meat and with various specifications. I hope you will arrange tovisit their booths and learn more about their showcases.

    在今年展會上，我們非常高興地迎來了“內蒙古展團”的首次亮相。內蒙古展團此次帶來了約30多家本省企業的高品質、零污染的牛羊肉制品。此外，來自“如皋腸衣城”的多家企業，也將在本次展會上奉獻他們的首秀，介紹規格各異的純天然和加工肉制品腸衣產品。在此，我想向各位發出誠摯邀請，歡迎大家造訪這兩個特色展臺，領略他們的杰出優秀產品。

    Meat Expo China is also dedicated to servingas a centre for idea exchange and networking among participants. CIPC and Messe Frankfurt have composed a series of fringe activities and among them, the biggest highlight is the International Summit on the Development of the Meat Industry 2015. It will commence immediately following this press conference at 10:30a.m.until the end of tomorrow. We will be able to listen to the presentations of high-level government officials from China, including
